I am glad to share that a report has been prepared by Ian Willick at AAFC for the apple industry. The report discusses the freezing events this past February and potential issues in the growing season. Ian is a member of the Orchard Outlook Committee and has been offering valuable insight as a new physiologist in our area. Documenting observations like the winter freeze can even become an important resource for the future.
