Friday, May 15, 2026

PomeBlight is an automated, web-based tool designed by Perennia to help orchardists monitor fire blight blossom infection risks using real-time data. It provides on-demand predictions based on the Maryblyt™ model to help optimize antibiotic spray timing. PomeBlight is now available for free! Quickstart resources are provided below. Please contact Michelle if you have any issues or questions.

Existing users can carry on as usual or may wish to review the Quickstart resources. The only notable change for this year is that the options in the phenology menu are now 'Preblossom', 'Blossom', and 'Postblossom'. Remember, the model only provides predictions during the 'Blossom' phenology stage.

New users can follow the Quickstart video or Quickstart PDF document to get set up.
